Wonderful news! I got an e-mail from Leah yesterday telling me that my acceptance letter came in the mail and I could pick it up in the UPO. After recovering from last night’s concert, I headed over to McCombs to get my letter. As I read through everything, I couldn’t help but laugh to myself because it’s still completely surreal that I’m going to be in another country in a few months. The furthest from home I’ve been to is New York City and that was only for a day…I can’t imagine being halfway across the globe for an entire semester. I get more and more excited with each new bit of information so I can only imagine what it’s going to be like when it comes time for me to fly out.
Now that I have my letter, I can apply for my visa…which is actually a pain. I’m going to have to ask how this works because I’m confused on some of the parts of this application. C’est la vie! That, and I need to book my flight…but I won’t be able to do that any time soon…hopefully that’s not a bad thing!
